Design study

The everyday bathroom

Beautiful materials and thoughtful details come together in a space designed for comfort, light and ease.

Bright bathroom with a fluted sage vanity, cream stone and a glass shower.

The idea

A bathroom can be practical without feeling clinical. These studies explore different ways to bring together warm materials, useful lighting and details that make daily routines easier. Any proposed support fittings, floor transitions or shower details need to be specified and installed with the appropriate specialists.

What mattered

Light on both sides of the mirror
Storage that keeps everyday things in reach
Shower seating and support considered early
Stone, color and hardware that feel residential

Warm wood vanity, rounded brass mirror and softly glowing wall lights.

Stone shower with a level entry, brass support rails and a fold-down wood seat.

Sage tiled bathroom with an oxblood vanity, veined stone and brass lighting.

The result

Different expressions of the same idea: comfort and personality should be considered together.
