About
Home has always meant
more to me than a place.
I’ve made homes in Poland, Mexico, China, Italy and, for the past ten years, the United States.
Each move meant leaving something familiar behind and learning how to make somewhere new feel like mine.
What I have learned about home
The things that make
a place feel familiar.
Living across different cultures shaped my eye for design, but more importantly, it changed the way I think about home.
Home is created gradually. Through the chair you always choose. The artwork that has followed you for years. The lamp you turn on every evening. The table where people gather. The colors and objects that somehow make a place feel familiar.
Those details can matter even more when life changes.

Why I do this.
I became increasingly interested in what happens when someone reaches a point in life when the home around them needs to change.
Maybe the house is larger than they want. Maybe they are moving into an apartment. Maybe they are living on their own. Or maybe they simply want their surroundings to reflect who they are now.
Too often, conversations about homes later in life focus almost entirely on practicality. I believe practicality matters deeply, but it should never come at the expense of beauty, individuality or pleasure.
Function should support life.
Beauty should make that life worth enjoying.
That is the kind of home I want to help create.
My approach
I don’t design around age.
I design around people.
Your habits. Your taste. The things you want to keep. The things you are ready to leave behind. The way you want to spend your mornings, welcome friends, read, cook, rest and live.
Age may change some of the questions we ask. It should never define the answer.
