Client home

A new apartment.
A personal beginning.

A home for the books, art and familiar pieces that deserved to come along.

Two upholstered chairs beside a hand-painted chest, artwork and a wood sideboard.

The idea

For a client moving into a newly purchased apartment, the goal was to bring together what mattered and make the new home feel complete.

Her books, her art and handmade, hand-painted furniture were important parts of that beginning. I designed around those pieces, adding comfort, color and light.

What mattered

  • Keeping her books and art part of everyday life
  • Giving the hand-painted chest a place in the sitting room
  • Creating comfortable places to read and connect
  • Bringing familiar pieces and new selections together

The result

A personal apartment with room for familiar things and a different way of living.

The photographs include digital styling and lighting edits, including fixture and window-treatment visualizations.
